Telegram launches anonymous blogging platform Telegraph.

Instant messaging app Telegram has just launched its own anonymous blogging platform. Dubbed Telegraph, the platform is intended to allow users publish online content while ensuring their privacy. However, currently Telegraph is only accessible to Telegram users.



Since Telegram itself heavily emphasizes on security and encryption of chats and other user data, it only makes sense that Telegraph focuses on anonymity while posting content online. That said, users have the choice to add their name with their posts if they want to.

Telegraph is quite minimalist in nature. Some of its features include markdown formatting support, the ability to post photos in-line and link embedding.


The platform is quite easy to use. However, its anonymous nature means that if the link to a blog post made on Telegraph is lost, there's no way to track it back as there is no user account or post history attached to it.



The unique URL associated with a Telegraph post can be easily shared on other platforms, but they are optimized for Telegram and its newly-introduced Instant View layout.

To try it out, use Telegram version 3.14 to share a link to a Medium post. This will get you an Instant View button that immediately shows a native page, saving you time and data.,' reads the company's official blog post detailing Instant View.

Telegram's Instant View only supports a few websites as of now. However, it does plan to extend the list of compatible websites so that they can be viewed with an optimized layout.

With the addition of an 'Instant View' button at the end of every post, Telegram claims to cut down on the time and data consumed by users while viewing posts.
